One of our founders, Martin Stöfler, recently had the opportunity to join a panel discussion in Prague on “Securing the Stack: Cybersecurity, Cloud and Platform Integrity,” organized by Hipther. The conversation reinforced how rapidly the security landscape is evolving, and why organizations must rethink how protection is built into modern platforms.

A central theme was that security is no longer a layer added at the end of development; it must be the foundation. Platforms that treat security as an afterthought inevitably struggle to keep pace with today’s threat environment.

Also discussed was how cloud complexity has become a major attack surface. Misconfigurations, unclear ownership, and speed-driven deployments are introducing risks faster than many teams can effectively control.

Another key insight: platform integrity is business integrity. Security incidents are no longer purely technical problems, downtime, breaches, or loss of trust directly affect revenue, partnerships, and brand reputation.

Finally, the panel emphasized that technology alone isn’t enough. The human factor remains critical: awareness, disciplined processes, and accountability are often the difference between resilience and failure.

Overall, the discussion highlighted a clear shift, securing the stack today means aligning technology, people, and business priorities from the very start.
